The inner workings of a mind that never shuts up

A place for philisophy

Whoever created this great legal system of ours must not have included the fact that human greed knows no bounds.

In various places across the country sidewalks are now being made out of old ground up tires (kudos for the recycling). Now the process is more expensive than concrete (who gives a shit?) but the thing that stood out for me was the fact that part of the reasoning was so that less people would fall down and injure themselves, and then sue.

That's right, if you fall and injure yourself on something the gov. built for your convenience (I don't know about anyone else, but walking through thick brush and woods gets tiresome after a while) you can sue them.

Just the same as back in the day a few homeless people got sick and sue'd one of the major fast food chains, after the fast food chains were giving them the left over salad's and such at the end of the night.

One person wins and everyone else suffers. Thank you morons who have made it so that I have to see a warning on a pop bottle saying "Open away from face." People who claim that McDonalds makes them fat, not their inability to stop shoving their faces and get off of the damn couch. People who claim to be emotionally scarred from seeing a breast on T.V. (I'm talking about you Janet). It really is amazing how stupid people can be, and the fact that people can be rewarded for that stupidity.

I believe it was Russia, who included the fact that American students are almost guarunteed to be forced into debt to pay for their schooling as a violation of human dignity, in a long running list they made while visiting here, or something along those line.
